Spring Has Sprung!
Hello crafters! I'm Ericka with Wholly Rustic and Redheaded Princess Designs, and I'm so excited to share this month's Wagon Club Box with you! Can you believe Easter is just around the corner? The trees are budding, tulips are starting to peek through the soil, and I've designed the cutest Easter-themed kit for your spring decorating needs.
I created our Wagon Club for crafters who love seasonal decor without the hassle of storing bulky decorations. Each month, you receive a beautifully designed kit that fits perfectly in our signature decorative wagon, allowing you to effortlessly swap out your displays throughout the year!

What's In This Month's Box?
This month's Easter-themed box includes several adorable laser-cut pieces:
A precious chocolate bunny complete with ears, arm, and a fluffy tail
A bunch of carrots (one of my favorite elements!)
Easter eggs in various designs (some striped, some speckled)
Two signs: one saying "Happy Easter" that hangs on the front of the wagon and another saying "Bunny Kisses and Easter Wishes"
All the paint colors needed to create your springtime masterpiece
A makeup sponge for precision painting
E6000 glue to put everything together
Remember, these designs are EXCLUSIVE to our club members - you won't find these kits for sale anywhere else on our website!
How I Created The Kit
I love designing these kits for you all, and this Easter collection makes my heart so happy! I went with bright, cheerful spring colors while keeping the design simple enough that anyone can create something beautiful in about 30 minutes.
When I'm designing our monthly kits, I always think about creating dimension and visual interest through color combinations. That's why I included elements like the ombre Easter egg and the multi-colored lettering - these simple techniques make such a difference in the finished product!
Painting Tips From My Studio To Yours
For The Bunny
I designed this sweet chocolate bunny to come together easily. After base coating with brown, I recommend adding subtle shadowing around the edges with just a touch of black on your sponge. This creates depth without harsh lines.
The ear gets a soft pink inner color (I mix pink, white, and a touch of brown), and don't forget his little white fluffy tail! Those tiny details like his black eye and nose really bring him to life.
For The Carrots
When painting your carrots, remember that orange tends to be more transparent. Two coats will give you that vibrant finish I'm showing in the example photo.
I love creating dimension in simple pieces! Try mixing a lighter orange for the centers of your carrots and adding a touch of brown along one edge. This simple technique transforms flat pieces into realistic-looking carrots. The green tops get a similar treatment - I mix a bit of white with the green for highlights.
For The Signs
Play with ALL the spring colors! For "Bunny Kisses and Easter Wishes," I used:
Purple for "Bunny"
Yellow for "Kisses"
Green for "Wishes"
Blue for "Easter"
For the "Happy Easter" sign that hangs on the front of the wagon, try creating the ombre effect on "Easter" that transitions from yellow to green to blue. These little details make your finished piece special!
For The Easter Eggs
The large ombre egg is my favorite part of this month's kit! The smooth color transition from pink to yellow to green to blue elevates a simple Easter egg into something truly special.
My pro tip: When creating ombres, choose colors that blend well together and work the transition line with gentle tapping motions rather than brushing. If you're new to this technique, just keep practicing - it gets easier!
Assembly Tips
After everything is painted and dry, use the E6000 glue to assemble all the pieces. Remember that this glue needs a full 24 hours to set properly! Even when pieces seem dry after 30 minutes, they'll shift if you stand them up too soon. I learned this the hard way in my early crafting days!
I like to keep some crumpled brown paper in the bottom of my wagon to give the pieces stability and added height. The "Happy Easter" sign hangs from the front hooks, and everything else nestles perfectly inside or alongside the wagon.
